Questions before you get started

All frequently asked questions
What is Maksabak?

Maksabak is an Arabic and English commerce workspace for managing products, inventory, local orders, and daily income and expenses. Connect Shopify to bring in store records, or use the operational tools without a Shopify store. AI assistance is optional.

Do I need a Shopify store?

You can manage products, inventory, local orders, and the daily ledger in Maksabak, and connect Shopify when you want to bring in your store’s synced records.

Will Maksabak change my store automatically?

Sync brings store data into Maksabak. Publishing stock quantities and product changes requires your review and approval. The assistant cannot make these changes on its own.

What do I need to use the AI assistant?

Add your own Gemini or OpenRouter API key in settings to enable the assistant. Product, inventory, and order management work without it.

Will it calculate profit without costs?

No. Maksabak separates available figures from missing inputs. It does not present complete profit or margin without the required costs and fees.

Does it support Arabic?

Yes. Maksabak supports Arabic and English, including a right-to-left interface. You can switch languages in the workspace.
